Pamela Jeanette Peak was born on September 02, 1955 in Columbia, SC to the late Herbert Peak and Gladys Peak. She was 1 of 8 siblings and also predeceased by her sister Georgia Anne Jernigan. She entered into eternal life while at her home on Friday, December 11, 2020.

Pam attended Commerce High School and subsequently graduated from Yonkers High School, Yonkers, NY. At a young age looking for love, she meet Dean Wade Barnes at South Yonkers Youth Council in Yonkers, NY and from that union she had 4 beautiful children, 2 girls and 2 boys.

As life went on , Pam worked several jobs to include working at Lillian Vernon Dept Store, Mt. Vernon, NY and Dutch Inn, Hendersonville, NC.

She loved to play Bingo, watching her grandkids play, and loved cakes, cookies, and other sweets.

Pam leaves to mourn her wonderful sisters, Carolyn Gaines, Frankie Moore, Angela Lynch, Gwendolyn Gaines and her handsome brothers, Herbert Peak and Dennis Peak.

She also leaves her loving children, Deanna Nakisa Peak, Dean Wade Peak, Pamela LaShay Peak and Les Corey Peak., her grand and great grandchildren – Antwaune Underwood, Richard Ash, Tristahn Ash, Iyana Peak, Lilyana Harrison, De’Jhan Peak, Summer – June Peak, Aaliyah Peak, Mia Peak, DeAnte Peak, Legend Garner,Dylan Peak, Never Little, Deja Peak, Dantrell Ash and Jaudah Underwood and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and family members.

A memorial service will be held, Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 3 PM at the Chapel in the Pines of Jackson Funeral Service, with Pastor Ronald Sullivan officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-3  PM  in the chapel.
