Wilma “Frances” McCrain McGuinn, 77, of Hendersonville, NC went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 3, 2021 surrounded by her children.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eley and Reetha Byers McCrain; her husband, David “Chicken Man” McGuinn and a brother, Richard “Dickie” McCrain.
She enjoyed working in her yard and growing flowers. She loved her family and friends dearly, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, Jeff McCrain (Wendi) of Hendersonville; a daughter, Jennifer Burgess (Michael) of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Connor McCrain, Sean Burgess and Kendall McCrain; a brother, Bobby McCrain of Hendersonville; two sisters, Carolyn Stepp (David) of Charlotte and Carol Jones (George) of Hendersonville and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, May 6th at Refuge Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Homer Maybin and Rev. James Maybin officiating.
The family would like to especially thank our mother’s caregivers that helped us keep her at home for as long as possible. The family appreciates all the love, attention, and care that was given to our mother, both at home and at Elizabeth House, by Four Seasons Hospice.
