Henry “Hank” Cook passed away peacefully the evening of August 28, 2021. He was 84 years old.
Hank was loved by all that knew him. As a self-employed Fudge Man for over 30 years, Hank and his wife, Mary, traveled for years around the country, making friends wherever they would go.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mary Cook, as well as his daughter, Lisa Melton, son-in law Jamey, two adoring grandchildren, Lilly and Andy, Hank’s brother, Rus Cook and wife Paulette, niece Sharon and nephew Rusty, as well as an aunt and many cousins.
A memorial service for Hank will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 16, 2021 at First Baptist Church, Hendersonville. The family will receive friends from 11-11:30 prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers donation may be sent to Polk Co Rescue Squad, PO Box 606, Columbus, NC 29722.
