Madge K. Dotson, 90, of Dana NC, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.

Madge was born in Spartanburg SC in the year 1930 to Arthur Vernon Kirby and Alma Lillie Coggins Kirby. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Eugene Fletcher Dotson Sr, her beloved son, Eugene Fletcher Dotson Jr and her precious daughter, Martha Jean Dotson.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Arthur Glenn Dotson (Donna), and her Daughter-in-law, Deborah Dotson; Grandchildren, Lela Dotson Heatherly (Roger), Ryan Dotson (Malana), Josh Sprinkle (Denise), and Daniel Dotson;

Great-grandchildren, Levi, Anthony, Justin, Austin, Landon, and Collin Heatherly, Sophie, Benny, Jackson, Kendal Dotson, Hannah, Allie Hudson Sprinkle; Great-great grandchildren, Thomas, Eva, and Bristol Heatherly;

Sisters, Frances Bryce, Norma Dyke (Bobby), and Judy Williamson; Brothers, Earl Kirby, Carl Kirby, Michael Kirby (Wanda); Sisters-in-law, Mary Jones, Margret Summey (Jamie); Several Nieces and nephews to whom she cherished and loved; Her cherished friend Jimmy Grant whom she loved like a son.

Madge was a faithful member of Victory Baptist Church. She dearly loved her church family. She had a special place in her heart for her Pastor Stanley Adcock and his wife Debbie.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Victory Baptist Church Flat Rock NC or St. Jude Children’s Hospital or a charity of your choice.

A funeral service will be at 2:00pm Monday in The Chapel in the Pines of Jackson Funeral Service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Jackson Funeral Service is assisting the family with the arrangements.
