Susan A. Smith age 64 of Hendersonville, North Carolina passed away on 11/24/2021 at the Elizabeth House Hospice in Flat Rock, North Carolina after a short battle with metastatic kidney cancer.
Susan formerly lived in Michigan. Susan worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan for 40 years as a systems analyst and worked in the I.T department before retirement in 2018. Susan’s hobbies included reading, traveling, hiking, doing crafts, quilling, playing mexican train dominos and making cards. She loved her family and friends dearly. Susan enjoyed living life to its fullest one day at a time, dedicated to making the world a better place.
Susan is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Kent Smith; her daughter, Kimberly Polena; sisters, Carol Kessler (Alexander) Patti Thomas; brother, Steve Revis (Mary Beth); nephews, Christopher Revis (Kathy), Adam Kessler (Brandi); nieces, Kathy Kirkland, Jamie Kirkland; great nieces and nephews, Samantha, Jaxson, Amelia and Colton.
