John Timothy Beal, “Johnny,” “Big John”, 61, of Hendersonville, passed away on Wednesday, February 28th, 2024, at Prisma Health in Greenville, SC. John was born on August 23, 1962, in Hendersonville, NC, to his late mother and father, Brenda Gail Beal and Robert Sydney Beal Jr. Along with his parents he is reunited with his brother Brian Beal and many more in heaven.
John was a veteran of the United States Air Force as a SSGT firefighter. At 17 years old he began serving our country and remained proud to be an American. John served as a Master Mason for Shriners hospital for children for decades until 2010. He enjoyed riding motorcycles with his brotherhood, the Outlaws for 15 years. John was also an incredibly talented tattoo artist for 35 years.
John was a loving husband, father, and stepfather. He was known and loved by many throughout his busy life. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making anyone around him laugh. Along with riding motorcycles he loved hunting, fishing, football and being an artist. He was passionate about helping children in need and American freedom. He was just a simple man that loved God, motorcycles, Jeeps, and guns.
John is survived by his wife, Brenda Whitmire Beal; son, John LC Beal (Little John); step sons, Richard Simpson, and Chris Simpson and his wife Tara; step grandchildren, Alexis Simpson (Monkey Butt) and Brody Taylor; step mother, Rita Beal; brother, Robert Beal and his wife Sandy; sisters, Cindy and Liz Turner; sisters in-law, Elaine Crowder, Margaret Whitmire, and Mary Grambell; brother in-law, Mike Whitmire; nephews ,Charles Beal, Philip Beal, Patrick Harrison and his wife Hannah, Reubens Maxwell, and Noah Beal; niece Autumn Lowe; as well as those he considered his children Susan Anderson and Kameron Cheatham.
A celebration of life will be at 11:00 am on Friday, March 15, 2024 in The Chapel in The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service.
