Norma Jean Staton Hyder, beloved Mom and Grammy, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, April 28, 2024.
She was born October 21, 1942, to the late Eskridge Houston and Floree McCall Staton. She was preceded in death by her husband Conley Glover Hyder and her sister Patricia Ann Staton.
Her greatest accomplishment (and joy) was that of mother and grandmother.
She is survived by two sons; Sheldon Capps (Beth) and Dwayne Capps (Julley), four granddaughters; Larissa Bright (John), Laiken Moore (Zach), Cassidy Gillepsie (John) and Larena King(Lucas) and eight great grandchildren. She will also be missed by many other extended family and friends.
A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at one o’clock in the afternoon at Mud Creek Baptist Church, with Reverend David Stanford officiating.
Highlighted in her bible, John 3:16 “ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that who so ever beliveth in Him should not perish, but have ever lasting life”
