Donald S. Cheatham 82, of Hendersonville passed away on Christmas Day with his son holding his hand at his residence.
He was the son of the late Sidney and Mary McQuirter Cheatham and husband of the late Elisabeth Wagner Cheatham who died in 2001. He was preceded in death by one sister.
A U.S. Army veteran, Donald enjoyed deep sea fishing, working in his yard and gardening. He was most at home developing land.
Survivors include, one son, Donald Bruce Cheatham and his wife, Kim of Hendersonville; one daughter, Donna Sue Cheatham of Etowah; four grandchildren, Kyle T. Cheatham, Kameron Lee Cheatham, Kendra Cheatham, Chance Cheatham and three great grandchildren and one on the way.
Per his request a private funeral will be held.
