Cecil C. “Chuck” Nix, III, 66, of Hendersonville, passed away Monday, May 11, 2020 at his home.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County. He was the son of the late Cecil C. Nix, Jr and Doris Ann Whiteside Nix.
He is survived by his loving wife, Miranda Nix, one son, Cecil C. “Cal”Nix, IV and one daughter Lindsey Bradburn, who made his last days so much brighter with her loving care and compassion. He leaves behind a beloved cousin, Paul Dermid, and wife Melissa, as well as honorary brother and lifelong friend, Art Holbert.
He enjoyed being outdoors and fishing, spending time with family and friends, and he will be greatly missed.
A private service was held on May 15, 2020 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Cemetery, with the Revs. Robert Garren and Canon Richard Rowe officiating.
