Chapel in the Pines

In 1961, Jackson Funeral Service added a “chapel” to its main building, The Chapel in the Pines. The Funeral Home was once surrounded by majestic, towering White Pine trees that gave the property its unique character, as well as the chapels name. It was built large enough to seat 325 people and accommodate most services.

As a vocalist, Clyde Jackson made sure the acoustics would be more than adequate as the chapel was built to carry voices throughout the seating area. The Chapel is equipped with a piano, organ and a sound system that are all available for service music. To help personalize our services, we added a video projector to display photos, slideshows and home movies to share and memorialize your loved one.

Arrangement Room

When making arrangements at Jackson Funeral Service, we provide a calm and relaxed room for your family’s convenience. Soft color decor, wood tones and comfortable seating are provided for your whole family. We make our inventory of caskets, vaults, and urns available to you digitally on a 70-inch screen for easy accessibility and unencumbered decision making. We also stock physical samples of some of our most popular smaller items like register books, urns and keepsakes

.

We hope our calming atmosphere makes this difficult time of loss easier for you and your guests.

Visitation Room

There are many instances when a family wishes for a private and peaceful space to visit with a passed loved one. We offer several different options to accommodate your requests. A private visitation room just off to the side of our Chapel in the Pines offers soft lighting in a quiet space. Our living room may also be used for visitation when more space or seating is needed. For larger visitations, we utilize our chapel. No matter what option you find is best for you and your family, we invite you into our home in the hopes you feel as if you have entered into the home of a valued and trusted friend.
