Mary Frances Grove, 83, of Charleson, West Virginia, passed away peacefully while in hospice care on Friday, January 2, 2026. Mary was full of life, faith and love, and she leaves behind a legacy of devotion to family, and service to others.
Mary was the daughter of the late Homer Frame and late Cora Ellen Frame.
Mary is lovingly survived by her sisters: Helen Delores (late Tom), Barbara (Don) and brother Jimmy (Tao) as well as many nieces and nephews. Her children: Terry, Debbie, Chris (Alice) and Ruth Ellen (Butch). Grandchildren: Ryan (Wendy), Samantha (Greg), Jeremy (Zoila), Leighanne (Kyle), Rebecca (Justin), Marilyn Frances (Andrew). Great Grandchildren: Connor, Kylie, Ava, Vanessa, Ethan, Eli, Hanna, Willow, Vincent
Mary was a homemaker and later in life worked as a day care teacher in Albany, New York. Mary had a deep love for reading, old movies, Irish music and gardening. Mary spent many summers in Schroon Lake with family camping, hiking, and boating. Mary will be fondly remembered by family and friends for her sense of humor, empathy and compassion for others as well as her childlike excitement when receiving flowers and presents and for her love of chocolate. Mary will be deeply missed and forever loved.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026, in the Chapel in the Pines at Jackson Funeral Service in Hendersonville N.C. All are welcome to attend.
