Wilburn Henry Lefler, age 81, of Hendersonville, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on January 5, 2026.
Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, Wilburn was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lefler. He was a longtime resident of Hendersonville and faithfully served the Lord throughout his life as a Baptist minister, answering God’s call with devotion, humility, and love for others. His ministry and witness touched many lives, and he will be remembered for his steadfast faith and servant’s heart.
Wilburn was a devoted husband and family man. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Ruby Dalton Lefler; a brother, Frank Lefler; along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by loved ones who welcomed him into eternal rest.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Mountain Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Edneyville. Reverend James Maybin will officiate.
