Homer Moore Jr., 94, of Horse Shoe went home to be with the Lord on Sunday January 07, 2024 at his son’s residence.
He was the son of the late Homer and Ella Gibson Moore. He was preceded in death by two wives;
Patsy A. Moore and Betty C. Moore, one son; James and three brothers; Roy, Charles and Leonard.
Homer was a dedicated minister, who loved the Lord for over 50 years. He was pastor at Deaver View Evangelist Tabernacle. He was a bulldozer operator for over forty years as well.
Survivors include six sons; Larry Moore ( June), David Moore, Richard Moore, David Coleman and Jerry Coleman and Richard Coleman, two daughters; Brenda Coleman and Margaret Coleman, one sister; Maxine Clark and several grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held, Thursday, January 11, 2024 at two o’clock in the afternoon at the Chapel in the Pines of Jackson Funeral Service with the Reverend Neil Rowland officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
