Edward Ellis Morgan, Jr., 80, of Flat Rock, NC passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023.
Born in 1942, he was the son of the late Sara Marie and Edward Ellis Morgan, Sr. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Edward “Eddie” Ellis Morgan, III.
“Ed” retired from General Electric. He was well known for playing “Digger The Undertaker” at Ghost Town in Maggie Valley, NC.
He is survived by his grandson, Gregory Morgan of Augusta, GA; two sisters, Sara Lou Edwards of Shelby, NC and Ann Knight of Ft. Mill, SC; several nieces.
