Judith E. Ausley, 82, of Hendersonville, NC passed away Sunday January 15, 2023 at Autumn Care Nursing Home in Saluda, NC. Judy was originally from Hastings, Florida and moved to Asheville, NC in 1971 to pursue a career in journalism. She worked for various newspapers within the state as a journalist, freelance writer and photographer. She loved Western, NC with the comfort of her cats and the people she met along the way. Judy will be greatly missed by her brother John, her nieces Anissa, Marla and nephew Kenneth Ausley.
