CHRIS NEIL FLOWERS, age 63, of Mills River, NC, passed away peacefully at his home on January 17, 2020 after battling cancer.  Chris was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida.  Chris attended Palm Beach Lakes High School.  He completed technical courses in small engine and automotive repair. After leaving West Palm Beach, Chris made his home in North Carolina.  Upon attaining a Master Electrician’s License, he formed Hendersonville Electrical Contracting, Inc. in 1999.  Chris was very handy and enjoyed building things and solving electrical problems.  He enjoyed boating, swimming and fishing, especially in the ocean. Driving the Blue Ridge Parkway and exploring the waterfalls was something he not only enjoyed but loved sharing with others.  He enjoyed working in the yard and planting flowers.  Much like his Mother, Chris loved music and would listen to many varieties.  He was also a lover of animals, dogs and cats.  He had a wonderful way of making people laugh as he had an infectious smile. Chris loved his family near and far.  More than anything, Chris loved all of his daughters and each held a special place in his heart.

Chris is predeceased by his parents, Martell L. Flowers and Harriet (Rogers) Flowers Butts; his grandparents, Wade E. Rogers, Sr., and Bennie Ruth Roberson; and Pearl and Frank Flowers.  He is survived by his girlfriend Karen Breeding; his ex-wives, Jill Casey and Deborah Flowers; sister, Jean Flowers Goodbrand and brother-in-law Walter Goodbrand; sister, Janet Flowers Wloch; daughters, Kristi Colmenero; Jacqueline Rachel Flowers; Kelly Flowers; Kendall Flowers; and Katlyn Flowers.  Chris leaves behind several nieces, a nephew, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, as well as other family and friends.
