Wilma Jean Edney Lamb, 79 of Hendersonville, NC went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 24, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Vavie Pryor Edney and was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Lamb in 2020 and her twin brother, Wayne Dean Edney in 1982.
She is survived by her daughters Stephanie Lamb McCauley and her husband Cliff and Leslie Lamb Fletcher and her husband Steven, all of Hendersonville; her siblings Joanne Rogers and Vendetta Edney Thomas both of Hendersonville; Grandchildren: Tyler and Ashley Messer, Aren and Morgan Messer all of Hendersonville, and Landa and David Griffin of Lexington, NC; great- grandchildren Warren, Adelynn, Callie, Maverick and Tatum and many nephews and nieces.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024, 3:00 pm at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 2557 Chimney Rock Road, Hendersonville, NC 28792. Following the memorial service, immediate family will gather graveside at Fair Haven Baptist Church 27 Eisenhower Drive, Hendersonville, NC 28792
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fairhaven Baptist Church, PO Box 5067, Hendersonville, NC 28793, to further their ministry in service of the Lord.
