Louie Jennings Beddingfield, 77, of Flat Rock, died suddenly on January 27, 2021, at Hendersonville Health and Rehabilitation in Flat Rock, North Carolina. Louie was the oldest son of the late J. B. Beddingfield and Olivia Shipman Beddingfield. He was a life-long resident of Henderson County and was a member of Cedar Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Anders Beddingfield; a sister, Shirley Beddingfield Bayne; a brother, Carl Beddingfield and his wife, Dianne; and many family and friends.
Louie earned his living as a truck driver and enjoyed many years of being on the road. He was a man that was giving and kind-hearted and never met a stranger. The saying, “To know him is to love him”, certainly describes Louie’s life. We will miss him terribly but know that he is happy and never has to spend another night alone.

We wish to thank the staff at Hendersonville Health and Rehab for taking such good care of him and being so good to him.
A graveside service will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Thompson Cemetery of Cedar Springs Baptist Church, Zirconia. Reverend James Maybin will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Louie’s honor to the Thompson Cemetery of Cedar Springs Baptist Church.
The family has entrusted Jackson Funeral Service with the arrangements.
