Franklin Robert Turner, 73, of Hendersonville passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021 surrounded by his daughters, Tammy and Michelle.
He was the son of the late Henry and Lillian Caldwell Turner. He was proceeded in death by two infant brothers, George and Charles Turner; a brother, Foy Wayne Turner, Sr.; his sister-in-law, Judy Turner; brother-in-law, Joe Hensley and nephew, Allen Hensley. Franklin was a faithful member of Dana Baptist Church.
Franklin is survived by his two loving daughters, Tammy Morgan (David) of Hendersonville and Michelle Lance (Richard) of Fletcher; his sister, Colleen Hensley of Hendersonville; four grandchildren, Kaylyn O’steen (Ricky) of Hendersonville, Dylan Lance of Fletcher, Jared Morgan (Sydney) of Hendersonville and Hayley Goings (Brendon) of Greeneville, TN; the light of his life great-grandchildren, Landon Wade and Johnny Ray Goings of Greeneville, TN and Jaxson Wayne Morgan (due in June 2021) and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Dana Baptist Church 377 Ridge Road Hendersonville, NC 28792 at 3 pm on Saturday, February 6, 2021 with Reverend Dan Blackwell officiating. A covered dish meal will be shared in the church fellowship hall following the service. Feel free to bring a dish or just stay and share memories of Franklin.
