Ronald Eugene Redmon passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022. Better known as Ronnie Redmon, he will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
To know Ronnie was to love him. After three years of residency at the Black Mountain Neuro Medical Treatment Center, he was supported through the end-of-life care by the same phenomenal team of loving care-givers there. We are very grateful for the love and support the staff provided not only for Ronnie, but for the family as well.
Ronnie was the embodiment of love, as described in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. Ronnie was patient, he was kind. He did not envy or boast, and was not proud. He did not dishonor others, was not self-seeking of easily angered, he kept no record of wrong. He did not delight in evil, but rejoiced in the truth. He was always protective of the ones he loved and trusting of those who cared for him. He was always hopeful that good would persevere.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, J.C. Redmon; his mother Lois Kerr Taylor and his brother Gary Redmon. He is survived by three sisters and their families; Trudy & Ross Terry, Gayle and Mark Combs, and Letitia White. In addition, he was also a very special part of the family of Don & Suzanne Kirtley, his caregivers.
A Memorial Graveside Service will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Asheville on Saturday, February 12 at 1:00pm.
