Thomas Earl McCall, 75, of Hendersonville, took his heavenly flight this morning, February 09, 2022 at 2:10 AM. His reservations were made long ago and his ticket was given to him by Jesus personally. His ETA into Heaven was immediately. No waiting on a delayed flight.
Earl was the son of the late Hayden McCall and Josie Reynolds Smith. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Earl was a member of East Hendersonville Baptist Church. He retired from Brevard Lumber company after 25 years of dedicated service. He loved to spend time in his garden and was well known for his carpentry skills, in particular, his hand built bird houses, that were built to shape and scale of log homes. His bird houses were sent all over the United states.
Those left to cherish his memory include, his wife of 50 years, Nevelyn Heaton McCall, one son Patrick McCall of Hendersonville, one brother David McCall of York, PA, one sister in law Sharon McCall of Lake Toxaway, NC, his precious dog Sylvee and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held, Saturday February 12, 2022 from 2PM to 4PM at East Hendersonville Baptist Church with the Reverend Carole Poole officiating.
