James Earl Holbert, 84, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 9, 2023. He is survived by his wife Maggie Wilson Holbert, step-children Rick and wife Victoria Thompson, Lin and husband Sherrill Barber, and, Rich and wife Christina Thompson, 5 step-grandchildren and, 3 step-great grandchildren. Jim was predeceased by his parents Herman Manual and Ella Ree Holbert, brother Rev. Dan Holbert, first wife, Donna Jean Holbert and son, James Craig Holbert.
Jim graduated from Brevard High School. He had a lifelong career of carpentry and interior design. He had the distinction of being a 30 year volunteer at the Blue Fire Department. Jim was also a professional magician performing at venues all over the country.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
