Jay William Cody, of Hendersonville, NC, passed away at the age of 50, Tuesday February 15, 2022 at UNC Blue Ridge Hospital in Morganton, NC.
Jay was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Walter E. Sr. and Margaret Cody and his maternal grandparents, James and Thelma Ravan.
Jay was a Christian. He had many friends. He enjoyed his cars and walks in the woods. Jay had a great passion for life and was loved by all who knew him. He will be missed tremendously.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Walter E. Jr. and Melody Ravan Cody of Strawberry Plains, TN, his brother and sister in law Stephen E. and Ashton Cody of Hendersonville, NC, along with nieces, nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday February 23, 2022 at 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Eric Wyatt officiating.
