Virginia Faye Andrews, age 85, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
Throughout her life, Virginia was a devoted stay-at-home mother, later working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and in the bakery at Ingles. She was known for her strong work ethic, caring heart, and deep love for her family. Whether caring for her children, helping patients, or serving others through her work, she gave of herself generously and faithfully.
Virginia was strong in her faith and found great comfort in her relationship with the Lord. She faced life with quiet strength and unwavering belief, and she knew she was going to a better place. In her later years, she often spoke of longing to be reunited with her mother and siblings, and that hope brought her peace. Her faith was a guiding light to her family and an inspiration to those around her.
She also found great joy in working in her yard and tending to her garden. She loved planting flowers and caring for her home, creating beauty that reflected the warmth in her heart.
She is survived by her children, Randy Ferrell, Julie Garrett, Stephanie Carson, Bubba Andrews, and Ann Andrews-Morgan; and her beloved grandchildren, Dakota Andrews, Savanah Andrews, Nolan Andrews, Ethan Andrews, and Haley Andrews.
Virginia leaves behind cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Green River Baptist Church on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., with the funeral service starting at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Pace Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Four Seasons Compassion for Life Elizabeth House.
