Sandra S. Gilbert ,“MawMaw”, 80, of Edneyville, peacefully passed away at her home surrounded by her loved ones on Thursday, February 18. 2021.
Sandra was reunited in Heaven with her beloved Husband, Edward ‘’Ed” Gilbert and Son, Jeffery Gilbert.
She leaves behind daughters, Sheila Bousson and her husband Dennis Bousson and Shawn Mckee; Daughter in law, Rita Glibert; grandchildren, Amanda Magnet and her husband Charlie Magnet, Correy Bousson, Timmy Boussonand his wife Machiah, Gavin Mckee and his wife Laney, Dalton Mckee and his wife Leah, and Broke Mckee; great grandchildren, Daniel Magnet and Emory Mckee; Sisters, Patsy Perkins and Brenda Waldroup, and several Nieces and Nephews.
Mawmaw was the best Mom, MawMaw and Friend anyone could ask for. She was greatly loved and will be missed.
We will be celebrating her amazing life on Sunday, February 21 at 3:00pm at In Jesus Name Church 2934 Sugarloaf Mountain Rd, Hendersonville NC 28792. Any flowers would be greatly appreciated. We would like to thank all the wonderful Nurses and Doctors at Four Seasons Hospice with a special thank you to Courtney and Suzi. You all are amazing Angels.
