Karen Pace Davis, 64, of Mills River passed away Friday, February 18, 2022 at Advent Health Hendersonville.
A native of Henderson County, she was the daughter of the late William L. and Jeanne A. Pace.
Karen worked for many years assisting in accounting and performing payroll and bookkeeping services. She was dedicated in all areas of her life and took pride in performing her job to the very best of her abilities. She was especially known for her “paper trail”. She loved animals, especially horses, dogs, and cats, of which she had many. She was incredibly loyal and loved her family and friends deeply and cherished the many times she shared with them. She was a wonderful wife, marvelous mother, giving Grammy, and fierce friend. She stood on principle, never compromised and always fought for what was right and just. She gave of herself to those in need, many times at her own expense.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 46 years, Gene Thomas Davis, one son, Brice Davis of Durham and his wife Amber, two grandsons, Tyler Davis and Thomas Davis of Durham, one sister, Alice Marie Darnell of Huntersville, two brothers, William “Bill” Pace, Jr. of Durham and his wife Carolyn, Terry Pace of Lewisville and his wife Becky, as well as several nieces, nephews, and their children.
Condolences and memories may be shared with the Davis family via www.jacksonfuneralservice.com, posted to Karen’s Facebook page, or cards can be mailed to Jackson’s Funeral Service at 1101 Greenville Hwy Hendersonville, NC 28792. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to an Alzheimer’s charity of your choice or the American Heart Association.
A visitation will be on Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 5-7:00 PM in the Chapel in The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service. The burial will be private.
A celebration of Karen’s life will be announced at a later date.
