with the Lord, February 20, 2022.
To know Stan was to have Joy and laughter in the midst of pain. He
loved to make people laugh and his presence at Sunday lunch and
the stories he told will be sorely missed.
He was born to Linda W. Huntley and the late Ronnie S. Huntley of

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal

Stan married the love of his life, Vivian Meece Huntley in 1999.
They were married for 22 years. The Lord blessed them as being
care giver to their nephew Amon Villarreal for the past 8 years. Stan
loved to pick on you Amon and he was so proud of your
accomplishments in academics and wrestling. He loved you, and
was constantly bragging on you.
In addition to his wife Vivian Huntley, nephew Amon Villarreal (of
the Home) and Mom Linda Huntley, those left to cherish his

Stan was also a musician. He played banjo, dobro, mandolin,
hammered dulcimer, and steel guitar. He played with the gospel
group “Heart Felt” which gave him great joy.
He was very talented in ministry and was a part of the puppet
Ministry in the past and with Carpenter Hands working with the
children’s ministry. He loved Bible study.
He also loved collecting vintage cars and trucks.
A graveside service will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 27, 2022
at Hoopers Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mike Searcy,
and Rev. Rick Carpenter officiating.

Hendersonville, NC 28793. Memorials may be made to The
Carpenter’s Hands. 1309 Camp Buddy Rd, Ridgeville, SC 29472
Knowing that Stan is with the Lord and no longer in pain brings
comfort to us. I can imagine if he were able to come and play one
more song on his dobro it might be I want to stroll over Heaven
with you! He would want you know Jesus as your personal Saviour
and if you do not know for sure… Get a Bible and Read the Book of
John, slowly and prayerfully.
See you at the House Stan!

Stan’s recitation fast forward to 30 min mark
THIS IS WHAT HEAVEN MEANS TO ME
WHEN I PICTURE HEAVEN, AND QUITE OFTEN I DO.
I MAY NOT THINK OF THINGS, THAT mean MOST TO YOU.
LIKE WALLS OF JASPER OR GATES OF PEARL SO BEAUTIFUL TO BEHOLD,
OR MANSIONS STANDING EVERYWHERE, ON Solid STREETS OF GOLD.
FOR THESE AREN’T THE ONLY THINGS, THAT FILL MY HEART WITH BLISS.
CAUSE I’VE NEVER HAD ENOUGH OF THESE THINGS, TO GET ME SPOILED, I GUESS.
OUR HUMAN MINDS CANNOT COMPREHEND, THE BEAUTY THERE IS TO SEE.
BUT THIS MY FRIEND IS WHAT HEAVEN REALLY MEANS TO ME.
IT’S A PLACE WHERE ALL NIGHT WILL HAVE VANISHED AWAY,
AND THE AGES OF TIME WILL BE JUST ONE LONG DAY.
THE WEATHER WILL BE PERFECT, AND THE FOOD WILL BE FINE.
WE WON’T EVER HAVE TO HURRY, CAUSE THERE’LL BE NO TIME.
AND WHEN WE GET UP THERE, WHY WE WON’T EVER CRY.
CAUSE THERE’S NO BILLS TO PAY, OR NOTHING TO BUY.
THERE’LL BE NO MORE SORROW, OR NOT ONE BIT OF SIN.
AND THE STING OF DEATH WILL NEVER BE FELT AGAIN.
AND ANOTHER THING, THAT WILL MAKE HEAVEN SO FAIR.
MY MOM AND DAD WILL BOTH BE THERE.
AND LOOKING SO FAIR AND YOUNG I SEE.
THEY’LL NOT BE OLD AND WRINKLED LIKE THEY USE TO BE.
I’LL KISS MOM AND SHE’LL WHISPER IN MY EAR.
WE’VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU SON, AND WE’RE SO GLAD YOU’RE HERE.
DAD WILL SAY, SON THERE’S NO MORE FEAR.
WE’LL SIT DOWN AND TALK, FOR MAYBE A HUNDRED YEARS.
AND JUST EMAGINE IF YOU CAN
GETTING TO MEET ALL THE OLD SAINTS AND SHAKE THEIR HANDS.
LISTENING TO THE STORIES OF THE THINGS THEY’VE DONE.
MAYBE GET TO LIVE RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO OLD JAMES OR JOHN.
OH, IT’S GOING TO BE WONDERFUL IF WE MAKE IT THROUGH.
TO THAT BEAUTIFUL PLACE HE’S PREPARED FOR ME AND YOU.
BUT ALL THAT I’VE MENTIONED WON’T EVEN COMPARE.
TO THE GREATEST THRILL THAT AWAITS US WHEN WE GET THERE.
AND THAT’S TO SEE JESUS, THE ONE WHO DIED FOR YOU AND ME.
AND TO LIVE IN HIS PRESENCE THROUGHOUT ALL ETERNITY.
WILL SING FOREVER, WITHOUT A TROUBLE OR A CARE.
THAT’S WHAT HEAVEN MEANS TO ME, AND I HOPE TO MEET YOU THERE.
