Dolores Briseno Dalton of Spartanburg, SC passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at the age of 75. She was born in Chicago, IL on March 5, 1950 to the late Albert and Isabel Carreon Briseno.
Dolores was the devoted and loving companion of her husband, Roger, for 36 years. A faithful Christian, she attended St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for over 15 years, where she lived out her faith through kindness and service to others.
Known for her generous and gentle spirit, Dolores never met a stranger. She was selfless, helpful, and truly cared for everyone she encountered. She worked for many years as a hairdresser, a career she loved, taking great pride in her work and the relationships she formed with her clients. Above all, Dolores cherished her family and dedicated her life to loving and caring for them.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Edward Dalton; son, Michael Cash; step-son, Ben Mayfield; grandchildren, Chelsea Cash, Luke Cash, Alexander Brachman, Nickolye Cash, Tommy Ray Cash, Gage Cash, and Madison Cash; sisters, Mary Cazares, Patricia Briseno, Carmen Briseno, and Loida Briseno; seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Dolores was predeceased by her sons, Thomas Cash Jr. and Wilbur Cash, and sisters, Pearl Briseno and Rachel Briseno.
Visitation will be 1:30-2:15 PM on Sunday, March 1, 2026 in St. Paul the Apostle Historic Catholic Church. Funeral services will follow in the church at 2:30 PM, conducted by Deacon Peter Brown. Burial will be held at a later date in Hendersonville, NC.
