Howard S. Pelow, 93, of Hendersonville, NC, formerly of Parish, NY until 2011, passed away on Tuesday, February 24th. Howard was born in Fulton, NY, son of the late Howard and Mary(Cook) Pelow.
Howard was employed for many years by Byrne Dairy as a delivery driver, delivering milk to customers’ homes throughout the Parish and Central Square area. He owned his own business selling and repairing small engine equipment. He later went on to work at the Schoeller Paper Plant in Pulaski, NY.
Howard is predeceased by his sister, Beverly Pelow Harvey Homan, his son and son’s wife, Kevin L. Pelow and Charla Denny.
Howard is survived by his wife of 75 years, Catherine Markovich Pelow; their children Richard (Judy) Pelow, Raymond (Debi) Pelow, Howard Charles (Brenda) Pelow, Douglas (Angelica) Pelow, Scott Pelow, Sandra Nellis, Albert (Margaret) Pelow, Michelle (Dale) Yager, Kyle (Rachael) Pelow; his brother, Gary Pelow; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
No calling hours or services are scheduled. Howard’s wishes are to wait to have services with his wife, Catherine, at the time of her passing.
