Randolph Lawrence Jackson, 74, of
Hendersonville NC was called to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 27th after a valiant fight with congestive heart failure.
Lawrence was born September 14th 1947 to Clyde Bruce Jackson and Rosa Christine Jackson. He served in the US Army and when discharged spent the rest of his career with the Henderson County Water Dept. When he wasn’t hanging with his friends at the waffle house he enjoyed spending time with family, hunting and playing his guitar.
He was proceeded in death by his wife Rita Jackson, his father Clyde Bruce Jackson and his sister Jean Wiseman. He is survived by his mother Christine Jackson, sisters Hazel Jones and Bobbie Hanke. Along with his children, Jennifer Hildebrand and Marty Jackson, embraced nephew Greg Wiggins, acquired children Dwayne Reid, Ricky Reid and Christian Javarey and his grandchildren Kyla and Gavin Hildebrand.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 15th at the Chapel In The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service. A service will follow in the chapel at 1:00 PM with Rev. Doug Carroll officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Hill Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery.
