Burdette Green Holbert, 89, of Hendersonville went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 28, 2023.
She was a daughter of the late Rev. Ireland Green and Sue Brown Green. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband, Harold E Holbert, Sr.; son, Kevin Wade Holbert; granddaughter, Le-Adele Maybin; great-granddaughter, Lily Maybin; great-grandson, Benjamin Holbert; sisters, Edna Lyda and Treva Taylor; brother, Dan Green.
She graduated from Edneyville High School with the class of 1951. She was a member of Stoney Mountain Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Harold Holbert, Jr, and his wife Tracey, Barry Holbert and his fiance’ Brook Baldwin both of Hendrsonville; a daughter, Rhonda Maybin and her husband Troy of zirconia; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; a brother, Joe Green of Georgia; several nieces and nephews whom she cherished.
A service will be at 1:30PM Friday, March 3, 2023 in The Chapel in The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be sent to The Council on Aging or to Boys and Girls Club – Hendersonville.
