Jereline Frankie Beddingfield Sexton
Jereline, our beautiful mother, Nana, and friend went home to be with the Lord on Thursday,
March 2, 2023 at the Elizabeth House. She was a very special lady whose life was full of
happiness and love. Jereline was blessed with many gifts and talents, she will especially be
remembered for her amazing, kind, and giving heart. As a devout Christian, Jereline spread her love for Jesus through her card ministry.
A lifelong resident of Henderson County, Jereline graduated from Edneyville High School. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Virginia P. Beddingfield.
Jereline is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, James Edward
Sexton. She retired after 24 years with the U.S. Postal Service as well as the Henderson
County Public School System with 26 years of service. The lifelong job that she never retired from was being the best mom and Nana that anyone could ask for.
Jereline is survived by her daughter, Diane Sexton Herman and her grandchild, Cory James
Herman who will always love her dearly. We will miss her lovely smile and laughter. Her greatest reward as a woman was to provide care and love to her family, friends, and others.
In accordance with her wishes, Jereline will be laid to rest with a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Jereline’s name to the Elizabeth House, Four Seasons Hospice at 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock 28731.
