
Revonda Stepp Rogers, aged 61, of Hendersonville, NC, passed away unexpectedly on March 2, 2025. Born September 28, 1963, in Fletcher, NC.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Thelma Stepp; and a brother, Ricky Patterson.
Revonda was known for her vibrant, loving, and outgoing personality that touched everyone she met.
Revonda graduated from West Henderson High School in 1981 and embarked on a successful career as a self-employed entrepreneur, a journey she passionately followed for 44 years. Her business acumen and dedication were as evident as her kindness and warmth towards all. Revonda’s passions included gardening, nature, wildlife, and traveling, which reflected her deep appreciation for the world around her. Her gardens were a testament to her. Her gardens were a testament to her skill and love for the beauty of nature.
In her personal life Revonda was a devoted mother, wife, and friend. She is survived by her husband of 40 wonderful years, John Rogers; her mother Ruth Blackwell; her children, Rebecca Stewart (Daniel Stewart), Chris Rogers; her grandchildren Dallon Barnwell and Kaitlyn Stewart; her siblings Renee Hunter, Johnny Blackwell (Pam Blackwell), James Blackwell, Joey Blackwell; and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Murray (Darrell Murray), Sandy Tilden (Bryan Tilden), Cheryl McElfish (Barry McElfish), along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Revonda Rogers will be remembered for her radiant spirit, her unwavering support of her loved ones, and the joy she brought into the lives of those around her. Her legacy of love and zest for life will continue to inspire all who knew her.
A service to celebrate Revonda’s life will be held at Jackson Funeral Service in Hendersonville, NC on March 15th at 4:00 pm with visitation starting at 3:00 pm. The family welcomes all who knew and loved her to join in honoring her memory.
