Robert Osteen 81, born December 11, 1940 to the late Rev. James Everett Osteen Sr. and Della Mae Summey Osteen.
Robert was the last surviving member of his family. He went to his heavenly home on March 3, 2022 where he longed to be united with his Lord and Savior and his family. Robert grew up attending Mt. Olivet Baptist Church where his father was the pastor.
Mr. Osteen was predeceased by sisters: Emma Osteen Allen, Joyce Osteen Whitmire, Louise Osteen, Ruby and Ruth Osteen (twins), Lois Osteen, Lorene Osteen and Minnie Sue Osteen. He was also predeceased by two brothers James “Junior” Osteen and William Osteen.
Surviving relatives included several neices and nephews.
He leaves behind many nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters in Christ and his favorite radio stations WTBI and WGCR. A celebration of life will be at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church March 12 at 2 PM. Rev. Sam Beddingfield will officiate.
