Mayoma Wilson Carroll, 95, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.
Born on March 09, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Sarah Jane Wilson, and wife of the late Jack Carroll. She was preceded in death by one daughter Karen Strickland, five sisters, two brothers and her close friend Paulette Hopkins.
Her life will be remembered for her faith and her unending love for our Daddy and our family.
Survivors include one son, Doug Carroll (Becky) three daughters, Doris Jones (Donnie), Diane Treadway (Mike) and Donna Story, thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held, Monday, March 23, 2026 at 11 o’clock in the morning at the Chapel in the Pines of Jackson Funeral Service. Burial will follow the service at two o’clock in the afternoon at Carraway Cemetery in Burnsville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
The family will be at Maw Carroll’s home during the day.
