Pauline Dalton McCall, 93, of Hendersonville went to be with her Lord on Wednesday March 19, 2025 at her residence.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County. She was the daughter of the late Porter T. and Rebecca Laughter Dalton Sr. She was also preceded in death by her husband Brownie McCall, her son Bert McCall and her siblings, Tom Dalton, Calvin Dalton, Porter T. Dalton Jr, Ruth Barnwell, Daisy Owenby, Lila Moon, Emma Connor and J.L. Dalton.
She was a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church. In her younger years, she played piano for Kings Grove Baptist Church. She loved music, played various musical instruments, was a great alto singer and played in a gospel group, The Gospel Aires.
She also loved gardening, flowers, quilting, farming, weaving, puzzles, spending time on Little Pisgah Mountain with her family especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her sister; Sue Mahaffey of Hendersonville, NC. Her children; Cathy Mandeville and her husband Mark of Candler, NC, Teresa Watson and her husband Greg of Seaford, Delaware, Sam McCall and his wife Lisa of Hendersonville, NC, Rebecca Creasman of Hendersonville, NC, daughter-in-law, Pat McCall of Hendersonville, NC. Seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, March 23, 2025 at 1:30 in the afternoon at The Chapel in the Pines of Jackson Funeral Service with Dr. Bryan Melton officiating. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends beginning at 12 noon Sunday until service time in the chapel.
