James Monroe Morrison, 82, of Hendersonville, NC died peacefully on Wednesday, March 20th at the Elizabeth House.
Monroe was self employed and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Annie Morrison; sister, Brenda Baldwin; and brother, Howard Morrison.
Monroe is survived by a son, Tony Morrison; daughter, Rhonda Morrison; his aunt, Christine Rhodes; nieces, Candace Raines (Junior), Mandi Slagle (Dennis), Randi Nix (Tom) and his partner Donna Conway, all of Hendersonville.

Graveside service will be on Wednesday, March 27th at 1:00pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial donation in Monroe’s memory, are asked to consider Four Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care, 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
The family has entrusted Jackson Funeral Service with the arrangements.
