Louise Ivey Laughter, 99, was called home to be with her Lord and savior Tuesday, March 22, 2022 surrounded by her family.
She was known as Louise, Mama and mostly as Mamaw, even to many who were not her grandchildren. She was a precious, Godly woman who loved everyone, loved her Lord and her church, Kings Grove Baptist Church where she has been a faithful member most of her life.
She was predeceased by her husband Junie Laughter; her mother, Cora Belle Laughter; two grandsons, Grady Lee Duncan Jr and Stacy Ray Sargent.
She is survived by her five children who loved and adored her, Daughters, Carolyn Wall, Joyce Coates (Will), Janet Hedrick (Norman), Genelle Sargent; son, Steve Laughter (Mary). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grand children, and six great-great grandchildren who all loved her immensely.
Our Mamaw was a humble, simple, beautiful, God loving woman who we will all miss terribly but we are extremely thankful she is pain free, can hear and is walking those streets of gold. We all love you so much, sweet little Mamaw. Thank you for teaching us all to love our Lord and each other.
A funeral service will be held at Kings Grove Baptist Church (Pace Rd, Edneyville) with her pastor, Phillip Cappell officiating on Friday March 25, 2022 at 2:00 pm with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
