Wayne Jones, 66, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 07, 2021. A native of Hendersonville, he was the son of the late Lewis and Hattie Gilliam Jones. Wayne was a kind, devoted, and loving family man. He set a godly example that they will always remember, by being a faithful and active member of Crab Creek Baptist Church for 17 years. In addition to owning his lawn service for over 20 years, he worked at Cranston Printworks for 25 years, upon their closing, he continued working with PrintPak for two years. You got what you saw in Wayne, he was genuine and honest.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Allen, and nephew, David Jones.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Samyra Jones; daughters, Shannon (Gary) Brown and Amanda (Jessie) Burns; grandchildren, Morgan, Mason, Noah, Isaiah, Lillianna, Emma, Ellie, and Zachary; sisters, Peggy (Paul) Jackson and Martha (Butch) Metcalf; brother, Alvin (Peggy) Jones and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, April 11th at Crab Creek Baptist Church, the family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm until the service. Burial will follow the service at the church cemetery.
