Frances Amico, 80, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021 in her home.
Frances had the pleasure of living many places throughout the United States but was very happy that the majority of her life was spent in Hendersonville. She loved growing flowers, fishing, and in her younger years, was on a softball and bowling team. Of all the things she enjoyed nothing gave her greater joy than her family. She was a very dedicated mother and grandmother. Frances was often referred to as Nanny, not only by her grandchildren, but the lucky people that was considered family even if they werenʼt her relatives. She had a heart of gold and was such a loving soul. If you were part of her life, then you had the honor of experiencing her love first-hand. With this being said, you can see why Frances will be missed more than words can express.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Richard Amico; parents, John and Geneva Cantrell; sister, Lillian Knox and her husband Lee; and brothers, Carol, Clarence and Grady Cantrell.
Frances is survived by her daughter, Mary Graham and her husband, JC; sister, Linda Honeycutt; brothers, Steve Cantrell and Jesse Cantrell; grandchildren, Angela Hurley and her husband, Steve, Jamie Huggins and her husband, JD; and Mike Bowlin; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
