Phyllis Styles Bailey, 101, of Hendersonville, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021. She was born in Burnsville to the late Lonnie and Hannah Belle Thomas Styles. Phylis enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, canning and loved flowers. She was a member of Mud Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Anderson Bailey; siblings, Bill Styles, Shelby Styles, Mary Jones, Zula McClelland, Bernice Choate, and Manilla Price.
She is survived by her children, Claxton (Dale) Bailey, Minuard (Solene) Bailey, and Kenneth (Carolyn) Bailey; twelve grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The staff at Hendersonville Health and Rehabilitation loved her and became like family.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, May 15th at Mud Creek Baptist Church with Pastors Greg Mathis, David Stanford, and Phillip Capell officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
