Alvin Jones, 64, of Hendersonville, passed away at home on Saturday, April 24, 2021 following a long battle with pancreatic cancer. A native of Hendersonville, he was the son of the late Lewis and Hattie Gilliam Jones. Alvin proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

Alvin had a heart of gold and greeted everyone with a smile. He always said “I never met a stranger, everyone’s just a friend I haven’t met yet.”
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Allen and Wayne Jones, and nephew, David Jones.
