Fred Vakoc, a loving husband, father, grandfather, family man, and friend to many, passed away on April 30 at 64, from complications of heart problems and COPD at Mission Hospital, with his loving wife by his side and his daughters who were there daily during his hospital stay.

He lived life with passion, joy, and kindness, cherishing time with his wife, his daughters Tonya, Jennifer and Victoria ,his many nieces and nephews, his siblings, friends and his love for his Mom and Dad.

Whether riding motorcycles, tinkering with cars, or cheering on his favorite Nascar driver, Fred’s love for life was contagious. As a mechanic, he built a family of loyal customers who adored him.

Fred’s selfless heart and generous spirit touched countless lives. Though he may be gone, his memory will live on in the hearts of those he loved and served. He is now an Angel watching over us, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.

Fred was predeceased by his parents; Ronald Dean and Norma Jean Jolly Vakoc and one sister Dianna Dee Heatherly.

Fred Vakoc is survived by the love of his life; Vicki Brevard Vakoc, his three daughters; Tonya Christine Reeves and her husband Seth and their son Tucker, Jennifer Rene Ward and her husband Jeff and her sons, Tyler Queen and Bryce Queen and Victoria Bennett and her husband Eli. His siblings; Rodney Vakoc Sr and his wife Tammy and Brad Vakoc. Vicki’s family, whom he loved and cherished and many friends and customers he considered family.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 04, 2025 at Three- Thirty in the afternoon at The Chapel in the Pines of Jackson Funeral Service with the Reverend Richard Merck officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at Two PM Sunday in the chapel.
