Robby graduated from Hendersonville High School in 1981, where he played basketball and baseball. After graduating high school, he began working with his Dad at Higgins’ Quality Press for over 20 years. He enjoyed playing golf, swimming in the pool and ocean, riding his bicycle, hiking, sitting on the beach in the shade, going on family picnics in Pisgah National Forest, going to HHS football and basketball games, playing with his pets over his lifetime, and being with friends and family. He was a member of the Elks Lodge number 1616 and was the Exalted Ruler from 2001-2002. He was a Carolina Tar Heels fan his whole life and enjoyed watching their sporting games, and when his daughter went to the University of Tennessee, he became a Vols fan.

Robby was a devout Christian. He was involved in the church his whole life. He enjoyed doing disaster relief for NC Baptist Men in other areas of the country. He also helped with Habitat for Humanity.

To know Robby was to love Robby, and anyone could see God radiating through him. He is dearly loved by his many friends and family. He always lent a helping hand to anyone that needed it. He impacted so many people and will live in everyone’s memories forever.
