Vincenta Rolanda Saldana, “Jr.”, 34, went home to be with the Lord on May 9, 2022. She was a native of Henderson County, NC and was a member of Cold Spring Baptist Church, Pickens, SC.
She is a daughter of Vincente and Marsha Richards Saldana.
In addition to her parents, she also leaves behind a daughter, Jazmin Sharonnie Renee’ Saldana; a brother, Eric Saldana of Greenville SC; four sisters, Anisa Saldana of Austin, TX, Victoria Cecena and her husband Eric of Hendersonville, Estella Cantrell and her husband Clarence of East Flat Rock and Hillary Williams of Greenville, SC; nieces, Angel, Adriana, Mireya, Destiny and Rosie Saldana; nephews, Timothy Saldana, JuanCarlos Jose Saldana ”Baby Love”, Lorenzo Cecena-Saldana, Julialn, Jehovani and Joel Maldonado; one great-niece, Kamiyrah Saldana, Clarence Cantrell III; God-parents, Jeffery Stepp and Martha Stanford; five uncles; eleven aunts and numerous cousins.
A graveside service will begin at 2:00 pm Sunday, May 29, 2022. Vincenta, “Jr” will be laid to rest in The Richards Family Cemetery, East Flat Rock, NC. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon Saturday, May 28 in The Chapel in The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service Hendersonville, NC. Serving as Pall Bearers: Hilario Leon, Clarence Cantrell, Jr., Clarence Cantrell, III., Isaiah Ross, James Stanford, Kimmy West. Honorary Pall Bearers: Michael Ross, Chris Edwards, Johnny Atkins, Alex Atkins.
