Wayne “Mickey” Beddingfield, 78, of Zirconia, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022.
A life-long resident of Henderson County, he was a son of the late Luther and Jesse Beddingfield.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty Ann Beddingfield; a precious granddaughter, Victoria Leigh Williams and three sisters, Mary McCall, Joann Anders and Glenda Capps.
He was an avid western movie watcher who also enjoyed coon hunting and loved his coon dogs. His chihuahua, “Ruger” held a special place in his heart, but nothing could take the place of his beloved grandchildren who brought him great joy.
He is survived by three daughters, Jacqueline King and her husband Larry, Missy Beddingfield and Vickie Dalton and her husband Sean; four grandchildren, Devon Head, Savannah Hawkins and her husband Chris, Sydney Capps and her husband Samuel, and David Williams; great-grandchild, Easton Hawkins; five sisters; Shelba McCall, Margaret Herman, Loretta Osteen, Vanessa Banks and Terry Cole.
A special thanks goes to his great-nephew, Jacob Newman who extended his loving care and kindness to Wayne.
