John David Wagner (Dave), 88, of Hendersonville died May 16, 2022 at home.
Dave was born in Denver, Colorado on July 31, 1933 to William and Frances Wagner. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Paul, son Jeff, and grandson Justin and Anne his first wife of 32 years.
He is survived by his wife, Norma, daughters Toni Wagner and Sue Lawson, one daughter in law Bebe, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Dave’s career was in sales then management with GlaxoSmithkline Pharmaceuticals. In younger years Dave enjoyed snow skiing, golf and bicycling. He was a kind, generous and supportive man to family and friends.
A funeral service will be held Saturday May 21, 2022 at one o’clock in the afternoon, in the chapel of First United Methodist Church in Hendersonville followed by interment and visitation in the memorial garden.
