QP Anderson, a much-loved dad, papa, husband, boss, and relentless giver, went to be with the Lord on May 20th, 2026.
He was the son of sharecroppers and was doing a man’s work at nine years old. He always said walking behind a mule and plowing until dark gave him time to think about all the things he hoped to achieve and dream of the man he wanted to be. He spent most of his young adult life in the Navy where he retired after twenty years of service. While serving in the military, he saw the world and become an accomplished dental technician. After becoming a civilian, he used this knowledge to establish Village Ceramics Inc., where he served the dental community for over fifty years. QP was an acrobatic pilot, a talented singer who loved to play his guitar to his favorite classic country songs, and a country boy whose favorite hobby was moving dirt and making treasures with one of his big boy toys.
His mom gave him the name QP, not initials, just letters, which began the journey of a unique, one-of-a-kind man, that will never be forgotten by anyone that had the privilege to know him.
QP was preceded in death by his son Jeff and four beloved siblings.
He is survived by his daughter Amber, son Chad, four grandkids, and two great grandchildren.
The family invites anyone who loved QP to join a potluck barbecue at his pole barn on May 30th at 4:00 p.m. Anyone wishing to attend can contact a friend or family member for the address.
Jackson Funeral Service is honored to serve the Anderson family.
