David M. Jonas, 78, of Hendersonville, NC died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, May 21, 2020. He was from Cold Spring, NY but had lived in Hendersonville for the past 25 years. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and a volunteer fireman in North Highlands, NY. He was a retired Technician Specialist for Xerox Corporation. He loved fishing and was an avid golfer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lucy Merwin Jonas.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Justus Jonas of Hendersonville and is also survived by his children’s mother, Stephanie Jonas of Cold Spring, NY and his three children; Vicky Pampalone (Tom) of Fishkill, NY and Deidre Roberts (Bill) of Hudson, NY and David M. Jonas, Jr. (Rachel) of Chattanooga, TN.; four grandchildren, Ashton Vogelsang, Garrick Vogelsang, Gabriel Jonas and Ben Jonas.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
