James “Ernest” Wyatt, 98, of Hendersonville, NC went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at his home.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County. He was the son of the late John and Bertha Elkins Wyatt and was also preceded in death by his daughter, Judy Anderson and a brother, John Wyatt.
He served in the US Army in WW II.
James retired from Olin Corp in Brevard after 35 years of service.
He attended Mud Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 75 years Geraldine Stepp Wyatt; one grandson, Marty Anderson of Marietta, SC; two great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren;
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 8th at Shepherd Memorial Park with Rev. David Stanford officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the Henderson County Honor Guard and the US Army.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Four Seasons Hospice.
